At 7.00 p.m. of Friday 21^st March 2008, Masroor children A/C from OIB, invited mothers and children to join him in celebrating Mother's Day, at Marah Land. It was a wonderful evening.

Masroor and several other cartoon characters were keen to offer an unforgettable evening. Whereas the evening programs consisted of songs and musical phrases beside enjoyable contents, some games and special draws for the mothers.

Also, Masroor distributed flowers to mothers in acknowledgement and appreciation to their role in the life. The event includes the celebration of Masroor weekly draw, wherein Masroor gave out RO 4,100/- as cash prizes where 82 winners of Masroor A/C holders won RO 50/- each.

It's worth mentioning that OIB was the first bank in the Sultanate to perceive the importance of allocating a saving A/C for children, and so, it innovated Masroor A/C in the year 1988, bearing in mind the importance of financial future for children. The new A/C works towards the inculcation of saving habit in the youth and to offer them the financial support they need in their future life in the form of cash prizes in the draws organized by the bank.

In this year, the draws of Masroor include 82 weekly prizes, amounting to RO 50/- for each winner. To qualify for Masroor prize draws, the A/C holder must maintain at least RO 50/- in his A/C, and each RO 50/- extra shall mean more chance of winning.
