OIB launches
‘Aman Bancassurance’ services
Mr. John Carlough, Chief Executive Officer of Oman
International Bank announced that Oman International Bank is venturing into the
Bancassurance market. He is eager to see Oman International Bank take this
pro-active role of introducing ‘Aman Bancassurance services’.
“Bancassurance products are offered by many progressive banks around the world.
It provides tremendous convenience for customers to obtain access to insurance
products and full service banking products and services at the same location. In
many European countries Bancassurance has matured and become an integral part of
traditional banking products. In the Middle East, this is a relatively new
concept with many progressive banks in various GCC countries already offering
such products. ” John Carlough explained.
‘AmanBancassurance’ of Oman International Bank is offered in partnership with
Muscat Insurance Company SAOC and Muscat Life Assurance Company SAOC.
The ‘AmanBancassurance’ currently offers four distinctive insurance products
i.e. Home Insurance, Car Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance and Domestic
Safe Insurance. Each of these insurance products has very unique offering for
the benefit of customers.
The bank officials informed that during the first phase ‘Aman Bancassurance
products will be available at 10 selected branches of OIB.
